The Florida Department of Health is statutorily required to prepare an analysis of the Florida Trauma System by August 31, 2020, and every three years thereafter. As part of the analysis, the Department must determine the number of “accredited critical care and trauma surgical subspecialty medical resident or fellows” at each hospital that is designated by the Department as a trauma center.
All FCOT members are encouraged to work with the Chief Executive Officer or equivalent party at their trauma center to finalize this attestation in a timely manner.
